Are the images on the website low resolution?
Yes.  Images uploaded to the website are low resolution to save storage space and loading time.  The images are ¼the actual image size and are compressed 20 to 30% from the original images.  As such the images available from the website are generally sufficient for sharing on social media (or other websites) but are not of sufficient quality for printing purposes.

How can I obtain a high resolution image for printing?
Images posted to either the website or social media pages are generally about ¼ the size of the actual image from the camera. In most cases higher resolution images are available up to 6000 x 4000, suitable for printing up to 36×24″ posters. Full size images are not uploaded to save on both storage space as well as load times. If you are interested in a higher resolution image for printing purposes drop me an “. Be sure to include the image filename in your email.
